The HSES Technical Supervisor is an ambassador for safety to coworkers, vendors, clients, customers, and subcontractors. The position typically reports to the Regional Manager or Sr. Manager HSES.\nResponsibilities\nFamiliarization with all company and project specific HSES terms, requirements and project deliverables.\nIdentification of applicable regulatory requirements specific to the scope of work including monitoring compliance.\nEnsuring HSES plans, procedures and instructions are implemented\nFacilitation of project HAZID's and other risk reviews\nAssist in preparation and maintenance of Project Risk Register and Corrective Action Tracking\nAssist in HSES Prequalification of project subcontractors and vendors, as applicable\nPreparation, discussion and evaluation of Red Sheets with Sales and Operations for optimum continuity\nAssist in preparation of project HSES audit plans and conducting of audits\nAssist in preparation and maintenance of Project HSES Activity Plans\nAssist in the initiation of HSES training needs analysis and coordination of implementation\nResponsible for all New Hire HSE Training of production craft and other hourly employees\nProvide SME support to company HSES training programs, including development and delivery\nContributing to site execution planning and setting objectives, targets and goals\nLeading or participating as SME in Incident Investigations and reporting as applicable (COMET).\nAttend and provide input to forums such as kick off meetings, constructability & readiness plans, etc.\nSupport master service agreements with applicable service providers.\nTrack permit requirements for sites to ensure timely submissions.\nWork with Construction Teams to develop and implement effective HSES and site execution plans.\nManage/Implement HSES Audit programs.\nAssist in evaluation of subcontractor HSE screening process and documentation.\nProvide HSES guidance and leadership to management and team leaders.\nAbility to conduct client meeting with Sales and/or Operations\nReview of customer procedures for Sales and/or Operations\nPre-bid jobsite walks for Sales and/or Operations\nOversite of subcontractor start-up on jobsite\nUtilizing Knowledge, skills and abilities to work with the field crew to come up with an optimal plan on repairing/cutting down of weather damaged tanks\nResponsible for development and implementation of specific and measurable goals with defined timelines\nQualifications\n10+ years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPC project delivery\nExperienced Trainer for Miller Safe Escape, Basic Rigging, Mobile Crane and other equipment\nComprehensive knowledge, training and certification in relevant statutory regulations including: OSHA Construction & General Industry Standards, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control, HSE induction/training requirements, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Mobile Crane & Rigging Safety, Hazardous Materials Management\nTrained incident investigation and reporting
