This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in tax strategy and financial planning, coupled with experience working with high-net-worth clients or within a wealth management environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in developing integrated financial plans, identifying tax optimization opportunities, and supporting clients in achieving their long-term financial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive financial plans that incorporate tax-efficient strategiesProvide proactive tax planning for individuals, families, and closely held businessesCollaborate with advisors to align investment, estate, and retirement strategies with tax considerationsAnalyze client financial data and tax returns to identify planning opportunities and risksPrepare or review tax projections and scenario analysesStay current on tax laws and regulatory changes and communicate implications to clients and internal teamsSupport client meetings by presenting insights and planning recommendationsPartner with external professionals (CPAs, attorneys) as neededAssist in maintaining documentation, compliance, and best practicesQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in tax planning, financial planning, or a related roleStrong understanding of individual and business taxationExperience working with financial plans, projections, and tax strategiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferredCPA designation requiredExperience in wealth management, family office, or advisory environmentFamiliarity with high-net-worth client planningCFP or interest in pursuing CFP designation is a plusExperience with financial planning and tax software tools e.g. Bloomberg Tax, MoneyGuideCore CompetenciesStrategic thinking with a tax-aware mindsetAttention to detail and accuracyClient-centric approachAbility to simplify complex financial conceptsStrong collaboration and interpersonal skillsTO APPLY:Please submit your resume to recruiting@nepwealth.com
