Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is opening its first Chicago location in the lively West Loop district.
We are continuing to build our Opening Server Team for our mid-May 2026 launch.
This is a rare opportunity to join the founding team and help build the restaurant from the ground up.

Paid training shifts will be held prior to the opening.
1. Pay
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour (including tips)
Location: West Loop, Chicago, IL 60661
Job Type: Part-time
2. Position Overview
We are looking for energetic, friendly, and reliable individuals to join our new Front of House team.
As an opening member, you will help shape our service style, team culture, and guest experience from day one.
3. Requirements (Must-Haves)
Must obtain Food Handler Certificate before starting work
BASSET certification will be required once alcohol service begins
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

5. Position Details
Approximately 25–30 hours of paid training before regular shifts
Tip pooling system applied to both cash and credit card tips
Tip Distribution: Tips are pooled and distributed fairly based on role and contribution
Back of House staff do not participate in the tip pool
Follow Santouka’s service standards and operational procedures
Support daily operations and assist teammates as needed
6. Essential Job Duties
Taking orders; serving food and beverages
Cleaning tables and dining areas
Standing for long periods; lifting up to 25–40 lbs
Assisting teammates and performing side work as needed

Shift times are flexible and will be arranged based on applicant availability and operational needs.
The following are examples of common shift patterns:
Lunch: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Dinner: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
