Monitor staff documentation.\nAssist with the development and implementation of behavior support and skill acquisition programs.\nObserve and provide feedback to staff implementing behavior support programs and skill acquisition programs to ensure proper implementation.\nEnter behavioral data into appropriate software and assist in providing visual representations and clinical interpretations of the data as requested.\nComplete client observations to provide information for psychiatric reviews and attend psychiatric reviews, if indicated.\nProvide crisis intervention as necessary.\nWith other Behavioral Services staff, provide on-site support to staff with regard to behavior support plans and general proactive strategies for client interactions (positive behavioral supports) at all day program sites and/or residential sites.\nAssist day program staff in providing clients access to community activities.\nProvide behavioral consultation to staff in the Behavioral Health Clinic when necessary.\nAssist with ensuring that clients receive active treatment.\nWith other Behavioral Services staff, provide training to all agency staff on crisis intervention strategies if needed.\nCollect program data as required for performance management purposes.\nComplete behavioral observation of potential or existing clients as directed. Generate written reports of observations.\nConduct quality assurance activities including, but not limited to, the following: Check for current behavior support programs, documentation and availability of reinforcers at Program sites.\nCarry emergency behavioral cell phone during non-working hours and promptly respond to calls on a rotating basis with other behavior analysis staff. Willing to work at Joliet and Kankakee Locations.\nBe available to work early evening hours two days each week as requested.\nDocument all activities in a timely and accurate fashion which complies with the standards established by the funder(s).\nMeet or exceed the monthly billing benchmark established for the position.\nAccompany clients to the emergency room when appropriate if their behavior and/or psychiatric problem(s) require hospitalization.\nParticipate in all agency and department meetings and trainings and any additionally recommended meetings or trainings unless otherwise authorized.\nOperate agency and personal vehicle in accordance with established policies and procedures.\nMaintain current certifications in FA/CPR, Safety Care, RBT, and any other required certifications.\nRespond per established procedures with a “safety first” mentality to all emergency situations, including medical, behavioral, fire, severe weather, and other hazards.\nOther related duties as assigned by Director/Coordinator of Behavioral Services.\nMaintain ongoing compliance with all agency-related training and certification requirements.\nRespond per established procedures to all emergency situations including medical, behavioral, fire, severe weather, and other hazards.\nOperate agency or personal vehicle in accordance with established policies and procedures.\nOwn, maintain, and use personal smartphone for company business in accordance with established policies and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications: BA degree in psychology, special education, rehabilitation or related social services. Specialized training in behavior analysis is required. Applicants must be able to be approved to provide Behavior Therapy services with the State of Illinois within 12 months of hire (http://www.dhs.state.il.us). Ability to bill at the time of hire highly preferred. Reliable transportation during working hours, excellent driving record and auto insurance in accordance with agency policy. A post-offer physical and criminal background check required. Reliable transportation required.
