Pool Technician

Job Summary A Pool Cleaning Route, experience PREFERRED, but will train the RIGHT individual. Job requires the ability to clean 2 pools an hour to the following standard each and every time: vacuum bottom of pool, brush walls, tile, tops and sides of steps, empty pump and skimmer baskets, test chemicals and properly balance, clean filter once a month, clean salt cell every 3 months, leave a service card every visit, and make customers happy with your service. Ability to work in hot conditions is a must, self starter and self motivation is key. Duties Conduct regular pool cleaning including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water chemistry Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems. Maintain chemical balance by testing water parameters and adjusting chemicals to meet safety standards. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and others. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance. Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures including cleaning, chemical balancing, and system troubleshooting. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Previous experience as a service technician or in a related maintenance role is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks comfortably. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on work completed.
