Currently, CTS is reviewing resumes for *Structural Welders in Mobile, AL. *\n\n*Responsibilities: *\n\n* Complete fillet and butt welds GMAW-P process (multi-pass) in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions.\n* Heat oxygen/propane heating torch.\n* Perform grinding and pick up work as needed.\n* Complete air carbon arc gouging.\n* Properly use fillet and butt gauges.\n* Must have a thorough knowledge of various metals characteristics and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material.\n* Follow OSHA safety regulations.\n* Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.\n\n*Requirements:*\n\n* Minimum 10 years of naval/commercial pulse welding experience.\n* Successfully pass several tests over a three-week period.\n* Must have reliable transportation.\n* Familiar with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.\n* Pass a drug screen and background check.\n* Comfortable with heights and in confined spaces.\n* Lift 50lbs without assistance.\n* Must understand the layout of the ship and compartment identification.\n* Basic reading, writing and math skills required.\n* Must be a US citizen.\n\n*CTS offers a comprehensive benefit packet to eligible employees.
