DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Tech for a 13-week contract at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, with day shifts and on-call requirements including STEMI response.
DetailsWorks in a Cath Lab/IR setting at a 360-bed acute care Level II Trauma hospital
Caseload of 8–12 cases per shift
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
On-call is required, averaging approximately 7–10 days per month
STEMI Call team members must be able to respond within 30 minutes of activation
One full weekend of call required per month
No floating between units required
Charting is performed in Cerner and McKesson
RequirementsCurrent BLS and ACLS required
ARRT certification required, or RCIS with IR experience
Maryland license required if applicable
RCIS candidates must have IR experience to be considered
Two professional references required for consideration
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional InformationThis facility has a strict no-tobacco policy and tests for nicotine and cotinine — candidates who use any form of nicotine (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) are not eligible for this position
Scrubs are provided by the facility
Parking is available at no cost to staff using the Patient Visitor Parking Garage
