This role will gather user network requirements, produce clear technical documentation, and support a multi-enclave environment that enables secure access to data across the network infrastructure. GENERAL DUTIES:Design, install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications systemsGather user network requirements utilizing multiple methodologiesProvide necessary technical documentation, system requirements documents, and security requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve network issues involving various protocols, topologies, and networking hardwareAssist with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studiesImprove processes for deploying and maintaining network infrastructureWork independently and collectively to help improve network solutionsDesign, deploy, test, certify, and patch network components including switches, firewalls, and load balancersAddress interoperability issues for all features, components, and application dependenciesRespond to and resolve critical network incidents within designated resolution timelines REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber security, or related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber operations, cyber security, or related field.Strong understanding of multi-enclave network environments.Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure networks in government environments.Experience with SAFe Agile framework.Advanced proficiency with:Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, SonicWall)Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S)Firewall configuration and managementLoad balancer implementationSoftware-defined networkingVPN technologiesNetwork security principles and practicesNetwork monitoring and troubleshooting toolsNetwork performance optimizationCloud networking (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)Containerization networking (Docker, Kubernetes)Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Tunneling protocols (GRE, IPSec, SSH, SSL)Cross-domain solutionsNetwork automation and orchestration DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Relevant network certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) preferredExperience with NutanixDevSecOps practices and toolsCLEARANCE:Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph.
