You will be the liaison between all parties ensuring that deliveries are accurate and are being consistently made on-time, as we work to meet the needs of our customers.You would also:Schedule outbound LTL shipments to customers and/or job sitesCreate packing lists and BOL (Bill of Lading)Schedule incoming intercompany truck deliveries and provide direction to the warehouse leadsVerify production schedules will meet customer expectationsComplete daily invoicing for shipped ordersLog and track all incoming orders, notifying Customer Service of any order issue(s) which may affect delivery datesCreate an on-going log to track and maintain all backorders, shipping errors, warranty issues, and/or customer complaints, with the purpose of reducing these issuesIssue all Regulatory Agency labels, as requiredMaintain customer filesPerform other duties and special projects as requiredActively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employeesAssures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of ConductThe Skills and Experience you need: High School Diploma or GED equivalent3+ years of logistics experience within a shipping, receiving, manufacturing or distribution environmentPrevious experience in load building, multi-truck stop utilizing a zone shipping schedule, as well as dealing directly with distributors and understanding their needsProficient communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent problem solving, organizational, follow-up and a high comfort level balancing multiple priorities or projects simultaneouslyProficient computer skills including email, Microsoft Suite, JDE or other MRP systemsComfortable using basic math skillsWhat we offer!
