This is a hands-on, 100% onsite role that requires effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to support Clemson’s technology infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor Clemson’s network, servers, mainframe, and applications.\nResolve incidents, alerts, and service requests, escalating to subject matter experts as needed.\nConfigure network and system resources, and maintain detailed documentation for operational use.\nProvide Tier II support as per service agreements.\nPerform pre-configured port activations on network switches.\nPrepare and update operational documentation and knowledge base resources.\nEngage in training and cross-training within the team.\nDeliver excellent customer service for all IT and telecommunication network support needs.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nIP Network Troubleshooting – Advanced experience with IP network troubleshooting; 2-4 years required.\nDNS Configuration – Proficient in DNS setup and troubleshooting; 2-4 years experience required.\nMonitoring Tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds) – Experience with monitoring tools for network performance; 2-4 years required.\nMicrosoft Office Suite – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); 2-4 years required.\nServer Batch Scripting – Advanced knowledge in server batch scripting; 2-4 years required.\nTechnical Writing – Skilled in documenting technical processes and creating operational guides; 2-4 years experience required.\nNetworking Protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, NTP) – Knowledge of standard networking protocols; 2-4 years experience required.\nPreferred Skills:\nLeadership Skills – Ability to take initiative and lead small projects.\nCustomer Service – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when handling IT support.\nSelf-Management – Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.\nWeb Programming – Familiarity with web programming basics is a plus.\nEducational Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nInterview Process:\nInitial interviews will be conducted via phone or Zoom.
