The selected Data Specialist II candidates will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPerforms file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.\nDevelops, evaluates and modifies methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.\nResponsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides Senior Data Specialist with detailed notice of deficiencies.\nPerforms advanced tasks related to exporting data from contractor and databases, including: identifying data for export, confirming redactions and other markups, ensuring that exports comply with applicable ESI specifications, and quality check of exported data.\nDevelop, document, and maintain in the “Process and Procedure Manual” Processing Service procedures that adhere to policies.\nImplement Processing Services in accordance with policies.\nProcess received data using industry standards.\nUpload the processed data to the review platform.\nIdentify and implement approved opportunities for simplification, consolidation, automation, cost reduction and process improvement.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve the capabilities and reduce the cost associated with the Processing Service.\nPlease Note: While work is on-site in the DC area, there is some potential for telework and remote work.\nRequired Qualifications:\nRequires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.\nKnowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server-based applications preferred.\nWorking knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.\nExperience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity/RelOne, Nuix or other document processing platform.\nAt least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.\nMust be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.\nDesired Qualifications:\nUndergraduate degree preferred in computer science or related field.\nFamiliarity with iCONECT, Relativity/RelOne, Axiom/FTK, MS Office Suite, and/or West LiveNote valued.\nExperience with the accessing and handling of seized evidence.\nExperience supporting large document reviews over 1 million records.\nExperience with large IT and Cloud systems.\nKnowledge of forensics.\nExperience in search related technology.\nTrial support experience helpful.\nBenefits (employee contribution):\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nFlexible spending accounts\nLife insurance\nRetirement plan\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
