This role is built for an experienced engineer ready to mentor others, elevate standards, and make a meaningful difference in the energy transition.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nENGINEERING & TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nCreate structural engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects.\nDesign concrete or steel foundations for project equipment to meet jurisdictional requirements at local, State and Federal levels for various geotechnical parameters and soil types.\nAcquire and apply advanced knowledge of renewable energy system layouts and components such as modules, racking, inverters, and Balance of Systems (BOS).\nDesign a project, system, component, or process, and prepare project documentation.\nFormulate and solve problems.\nIndependently evaluate, select, and apply standard procedures and criteria.\nDevelop a work plan for project tasks and discipline team members.\nLead multiple projects and may act as Engineer of Record.\nQUALITY & COLLABORATION\nEnsure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.\nSupport client interaction for multiple projects in a single portfolio.\nAssign tasks to and direct discipline team members to complete assignments.\nProvide mentoring for staff engineers.\nAssist with proposals to provide professional services.\nAttend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments with high proficiency and confidence.\nReceive guidance when necessary on unconventional or complex problems, and a review of completed work for application of sound professional judgment.\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.\nPerform additional duties as assigned or directed.\nEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES\nREQUIRED\nBachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.\n5+ years' experience in a structural engineering design role.\nIn-depth knowledge of software tools including RISA 2D/3D/Foundation, Enercalc, L-PILE, or similar.\nStrong familiarity with ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360/341, IBC, NDS, and other relevant codes and standards.\nAbility to read and understand site studies, geotechnical reports, and civil, structural, and architectural drawings.\nAbility to identify and solve complex problems.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to be both creative and analytical.\nDetail-oriented and accurate.\nPREFERRED\nProfessional Engineering (PE) licensure or EIT Certificate is strongly preferred.\n2+ years' experience with utility or commercial solar PV systems, substations, or energy storage system design is strongly preferred.\nBENEFITS FOR FULL-TIME POSITIONS\nCompetitive compensation with bonus.\nFull benefits package including 99% employer-paid health, vision, life, and dental insurance.\nMedical, dependent care, and commuter FSA.\nMonthly health and wellness stipend.\nAttractive vacation, sick, and holiday pay.\nPaid parental leave.\n401(k) savings plan with 100% match up to 6%, vested immediately.\nProfit-sharing.\nPaid volunteer time off and charitable donation matching.\nABOUT REVAMP\nFounded in 2016, Revamp is the premier engineering design firm focused on large-scale renewable energy projects.
