You’ll partner closely with traders, quant researchers, and engineers to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency - while continuously improving performance, automation, and observability.Expect to work on bare-metal Linux environments, optimise for latency, and solve problems that directly impact trading outcomes.What you'll doMonitor, tune, and optimise Linux systems for low-latency performance and stabilityBuild and scale production infrastructure in a high-throughput trading environmentAutomate operational workflows to reduce manual intervention and riskSupport live trading and market data systems with a focus on uptime and performanceDiagnose and resolve complex issues across OS, network, and application layersImprove observability through monitoring, alerting, and performance toolingWork closely with engineering and trading teams on performance-critical initiativesYour Profile4+ years of experience operating Linux systems in performance-critical environmentsStrong understanding of Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, kernel tuning, routing), and hardwareExperience supporting low-latency or high-availability systems (trading or similar environments is a strong plus)Proficiency in Bash and/or Python for automationFamiliar with monitoring, incident response, and production best practicesStrong troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysisProactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on performance and reliabilityClear communicator, comfortable working across technical teamsAuthorized to work in the United StatesBenefits & PerksBase salary ranging between $150,000 - $225,000 USD, plus performance bonusesOpportunity for equity participation for high-impact contributorsRelocation support within the USExposure to cutting-edge trading infrastructure and low-latency systemsFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision)Daily meals and a well-equipped office environmentRegular team events and a highly collaborative cultureNot exactly the role you are looking for?
