As a senior data analyst focused on data visualization, you will drive the adoption of data-visualization technology across the firm and build solutions that empower data scientists, analysts, quant developers and business partners to make more informed and higher-quality decisions. The role focuses on the Private Wealth business unit and offers a significant impact from day one.\r\nKey Responsibilities Assess high-level analytics goals, refine requirements, and build scalable data solutions.\r\nRefine and drive adoption of data-visualization best practices throughout the firm.\r\nDevelop and enrich relationships with data leads across Blackstone.\r\nFacilitate proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, draft business designs (requirements), and establish project-specific resourcing plans.\r\nDraft, manage and continually improve all standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to data visualizations, including Tableau server access control, site administration, content curation, etc.\r\nParticipate in bi-weekly sprint planning meetings and daily stand-ups.\r\nOptimize and troubleshoot data products for maximum performance and scalability.\r\nConduct project reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.\r\nStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.\r\nQualifications 8+ years of experience in data visualization/analytics, preferably on platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, Looker, etc.\r\nExperience working within complex systems and large data sets via SQL or Python.\r\nEntrepreneurial attitude and experience in quickly adopting new technologies.\r\nPlayer/coach mentality with a desire to mentor junior members and adjacent teams.\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\r\nArticulate communicator in engaging technical staff and business partners.\r\nBachelor's degree or higher in STEM or a quantitative discipline (preferred).\r\nPreferred Skills Exposure to wealth-management market data (e.g., MMD, Discovery, DST, FINTRX).\r\nFull-spectrum experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, Sigma, Alation).\r\nProficiency with ETL platforms such as Fivetran and Prefect.\r\nHands-on experience with data lineage and observability platforms.\r\nKnowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello).\r\nCompensation & Benefits Expected annual base salary range: $160,000 – $225,000 (actual compensation determined by experience, skills, qualifications and job location).\r\nComprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision and FSA.\r\nPaid time off, life insurance and 401(k) plan.\r\nDiscretionary bonuses and potential equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone's sole discretion.\r\nEEO Statement Blackstone is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, marital or partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, genetic predisposition, veteran or military status, status as a victim of domestic violence, a sex offense or stalking, or any other class or status in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
