This position plays a vital leadership role in ensuring programs are delivered with excellence, impact, and alignment to our mission and values.\nThe Program Manager serves as a bridge between staff, teaching artists, families, schools, and community partners while supporting program quality, staff development, budgeting, evaluation, and strategic growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and Implement Arts-Based Programs\nCollaborates with Program Director on implementing innovative multidisciplinary programs.\nEnsures effective and clear delivery of programs and curriculum\nIn collaboration with the Program Director, Identifies and secures supply needs including research, procurement for training, programs, and events.\nManages and maintains program related budgets\nLeads/supports exhibitions, performances, and showcases.\nManages program schedules and the overall yearly calendar (with Program Director).\nManages day-to-day programming.\nProvides onboarding information to Program and Operations Directors (contracts, live-scans, TB tests, administrative requests).\nCreative Leadership and Team Collaboration\nManaging various programs and sites simultaneously\nManages a large staff of Program Coordinators and Mentors\nAttends weekly administrative and program meetings\nLeads weekly coordinator and mentor meetings\nConduct staff training for program readiness\nOversee staff invoices and timesheets.\nProvide conflict resolution support for staff and leadership.\nEnsure all staff submit timecards, time-off requests, substitute requests\nSubmit incident reports within 24 hours.\nMentor staff, interns, and volunteers to foster a collaborative culture.\nStay informed on trends in arts education, community development, and cultural equity.\nServe as a key Artists Ink administrative staff member\nCommunity Engagement and Partnership Building\nSustain relationships with program partners, families and students to implement effective and impactful programming\nConducting site visits, coordinating partner meetings, conducting and retrieving survey evaluations.\nFacilitates “Listening & Learning” forums with partners, families and students to ensure programming is inclusive and reflects community needs.\nServe as a lead representative of Artists Ink to partners, families and students to foster trust and collaboration.\nMarketing & Outreach\nProvides all programming descriptions and details to marketing in a timely manner\nProvides any updates regarding program timelines, descriptions or staffing to Marketing Department\nAttend Marketing meetings as necessary\nManages and communicates available staff hours for outreach\nProgram Evaluation and Reporting\nCollaborate with the program director to set clear goals and metrics for program impact.\nResponsible for conducting on-site evaluations, collecting data, media, and other materials from programs as well as feedback from partners, families and students for continuous improvement and measures of success\nProvides Weekly reports to Admin\nProvides evaluation reports, surveys and data to Program Director\nStrategic Planning and Resource Development\nMaintains program alignment with Artists Ink’s mission and long-term vision on the ground level.\nSupport a healthy lifecycle of programming, showcases, performances and in-school / in-house events.\nRequirements\nExperience managing educational, arts, youth development, or community programs.\nStrong leadership and team management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nExperience managing budgets and project resources.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nProficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Drive).\nAbility to work independently while collaborating across departments.\nCommitment to equity, community engagement, and arts access.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with youth and families.\nExperience in arts education, nonprofit management, or community-based programming.\nBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative software.\nBilingual English/Spanish
