Society Sports Scoreboard Operator (Student)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Scoreboard Operator is responsible for keeping score at society games on campus. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Show up 10 minutes before the start of the assigned game Communicate with referees Remain attentive and keep score and time during games Cannot be on a phone, laptop or other device unless between sets or during half-time Communicate any technical or logistical issues with the supervisor Return the scoreboard console to ECOR at the conclusion of the last game REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University Communication Skills Dependability Punctuality Basic knowledge of athletics Must (occasionally) lift/carry and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs.
