We are a growing company, devoted to a safe working environment, focused on Customer and Employee success, and driven by Continuous Improvement.\nWe are growing the World’s Best Company in Delavan & Cudahy.\nMicroPrecision LLC has a history of steady employment (our average employee tenure is 8.2 years), a stable team-focused workforce, offers excellent working conditions, a climate-controlled facility & state-of-the-art equipment.\nPOSITION PURPOSE:\nUnder the direction of the Materials Supervisor, the Materials Handler-Packer is responsible for the receipt of all goods and merchandise, the warehousing and inventory of all raw material, and preparing parts for shipments.\nFull-Time\nSalary Range:\n$17-$20 Hourly DOE\nShifts Available: M-F\n1st shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nReceive all raw material, UPS and FedEx packages\nVerification of material received against purchase orders\nInspect raw material and issue RIR tags; request inspection if required\nMove material using fork truck and / or combi lift / manual carts to appropriate areas\nAssist in maintaining inventory control\nOperate saw\nResponsible for move tickets of raw material\nManually wash manufactured parts by lifting parts placed in a basket, dipping in solvent and rinsing, blowing off excess with the use of an air hose and by using degreaser and spinner\nPack parts for shipment as assigned\nMove material using fork truck to appropriate area\nWork with Quality Assurance on priority parts for daily inspection\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nThis list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary. Employees are and will be held accountable for all duties of the job.\nDaily entering and posting of all raw material\nDaily accurate account of raw material inventory\nReport non-conforming raw material to Receiving Manager and follow through with MRB instructions\nResponsible for supplying material to work centers as needed\nReceive customer supplied parts, issue inspection and RIR tags\nUnderstand routing sheets for parts that require outside operation such as plating, grinding or heat treating\nPackage small products or parts in standard containers in shipping area\nForm, staple or tape seal boxes\nMay be required to select, assemble and check orders\nStencil or attach shipping and handling instructions\nVerifies all work procedures are checked\nTumble parts, per routing, by selecting the correct tumbling materials and placing the correct amount in a machine\nWork with Quality Assurance department to match parts, verify part numbers and distribute parts to next process such as an outside process or finished good\nInspect Humphrey parts for metal chips and debris and clear using air hose\nMust be quality conscious and continuously look for improvements\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. safely\nREQUIREMENTS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
