Perfect for tech enthusiasts and problem-solvers, this position offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to grow your career in a vibrant, supportive environment.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nIndependently services and maintains a full territory in the installation, maintenance and repair of Sharp equipment with minimal supervision.\r\nResolves at least 85% of service calls upon completion of training and territory assignment.\r\nUnderstands and properly performs all mechanical and electronic adjustments on equipment as outlined in the Technical Service Manual and Field Engineering Bulletins.\r\nAbility to read and interpret schematics and complete all electrical troubleshooting as outlined in the Technical Service Manual and Field Engineering Bulletins to include our complete digital line of products.\r\nResolves all normal customer relations situations and communicates any unusual customer situations to a higher level.\r\nMaintains parts inventory and achieves exemplary levels of inventory control and usages.\r\nCompletes all required administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner.\r\nCooperates with fellow workers and management to achieve Branch service goals.\r\nKeeps Group Leader or Branch Field Service Manager informed of machines performing below standards and report all actions taken towards resolution.\r\nPerforms other duties as prescribed by the Branch Field Service Manager.\r\nQualifications\r\n1-3 years of experience copier repair or repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent mandatory.\r\nTechnical vocational schooling preferred (electronics or electro-mechanical)\r\nMust possess Comptia A + certification.\r\nMust possess strong communication skills, excellent customer service skills and mechanical aptitude.\r\nMust successfully complete Sharp equipment pre-testing and training.\r\nKnowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred.\r\nValid Drivers License, and Automobile insurance within company guidelines.\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\r\nMust be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.\r\nRequires frequent kneeling and bending and considerable use of hands and tools. Walking great lengths at a time.\r\nFrequently requires moving or lifting of up to 50 pounds and able to lift 75 on occasion.\r\nExposure to live electrical circuits.\r\nExposure to extreme environmental conditions.
