The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized, hands-on care that promotes recovery, mobility, and functional independence for patients in their homes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and balanceImplement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical TherapistMonitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes in a timely mannerEducate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and safety techniquesPrepare and maintain a clean, safe treatment environmentAssist patients with transfers and mobility training during therapy sessionsCollaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive careMaintain accurate patient records in accordance with company and regulatory standardsQualificationsAssociate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (required)Bachelor's degree (preferred)Active Kansas PTA license through the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) (required)Minimum 1 year of PTA experience (required); 2+ years and home health experience preferredStrong interpersonal, communication, and time management skillsDependable, self-motivated, and compassionateReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseScheduleFull TimeFlexible ScheduleBenefitsFlexible scheduling and manageable caseloadsSupportive, team-focused work cultureOpportunities for professional development and continuing educationMeaningful work that makes a difference in patients' daily livesWork LocationIn the field (home health visits throughout Topeka Kansas)How to ApplyJoin a team that helps others thrive and grow your career while doing it!Send your resume to melissae@thrivetherapyofkansas.comRequirementsMust have your Kansas PTA LicenseReliable vehicleValid Driver's LicenseValid Car Insurance
