Senior Accountant (Scottsdale)

Headfarmer is partnering with a highly respected organization in Scottsdale in its search for a Senior Accountant. As a multi-entity company that operates in a handful of states, the company is continuing to expand operations and needs additional resources to support such growth. This is an exciting opportunity to gain dynamic, well-versed experience while being a part of a people-first culture.This role is hybrid, working 4 days per week in office in North Scottsdale.Compensation is up to $65 per hour.Your primary job responsibilities will include:Oversee month end functions for multiple entities across various statesOwn complex, high-volume reconciliations and variance analysisReview and post journal entries and accruals, including adjustment entriesAssist with financial statement preparation and consolidationAssist with process improvement and cleanup initiativesCommunicate with site-level managers regarding accounting-related discrepanciesSupport internal and external audit schedulesEducation, Qualifications and Skills Required:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field5+ years of general ledger, month end accountingExcellent reconciliations and technical accounting research skillsProficiency in Excel- pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and complex formulasAbility to work well in high-volume, ever-changing environmentsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written
