Litigation Attorney

Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will LLP is hiring a Senior Associate for its insurance defense practice group. Responsibilities: This position involves representation of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, major retail businesses, national transportation carriers, and insurance companies in the defense of litigation claims throughout New York State Pre and post-suit investigations Appearing at pretrial conferences Drafting and arguing motions Client reporting Drafting pleadings Qualifications: New York State admission Candidates must demonstrate an interest in case analysis, and logical reasoning when formulating case strategy A willingness to interact with clients, and be involved with on-site inspections and investigations where applicable Solid legal research and writing skills are necessary Prior trial experience preferred Minimum 2-4 years of litigation experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance License/Certification: to practice law in NYS (Required) Work Location: In person
