If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment and being part of a company that makes a real difference, we want to hear from you.Why Choose Seneca Foods?Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.Opportunities for growth in a stable, essential industry.A company culture that values teamwork, respect, and responsibility.What You’ll Be DoingScan and attach proper tote tickets to help maintain inventory accuracyMove totes / pallets throughout the plant.Weigh product and record weight on ticketsAbility to move, stack, and unstack pallets or totes of product in rows, and up to 5 highEnsure pallets are stacked and wrapped correctlyRemove pallets of completed product to appropriate area for storageUnloads and fills out required paperwork on all incoming materials, ingredients, and supplies.Relieve other department drivers for breaksOperate forklift safely at all times, maintain forklift as required, and complete daily forklift checklistChange propane as neededWhat You Bring To The TableHigh school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of forklift experience preferred (Food Processing a plus).Basic math and clear communication skills.The Work EnvironmentForklift Operators work in indoor and outdoor environments. Exposure to wet/humid conditions and extreme heat/cold. Some high noise levels and moving mechanical parts.
