This role coordinates development from concept through release. The Producer will balance creative, technical, contractual, and stakeholder needs while helping teams translate complex project goals into engaging and effective player experiences.\n\nOur studio is based in Eugene, Oregon. Relocation assistance is available for the selected candidate.\n\nDue to the nature of the work, this position requires the eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Continued employment in this role may be contingent upon successfully obtaining and maintaining that clearance.\n\nDay To Day\nResponsibilities\n\nAct as primary point-of-contact for customer stakeholder(s)\n\nIdentifies and manages against project success goals\n\nCollaborates with studio leadership and finance to align strategic goals and tactical measures\n\nProject-related Software and equipment procurement\n\nExternal development resource procurement. Owns outsourcing contract planning, negotiation, and management\n\nOwn the estimation, budgeting, and planning, prioritization, and scheduling of tasks related to the development of software projects, from concept to release and live operations\n\nTrack resource allocation, expenditures, project schedules and corresponding budgets against contractual commitments\n\nProject financial tracking and reporting\n\nIdentify critical path risks and issues and responses, develop and implement mitigation plans as necessary. Drive risk action plan results\n\nIdentify, drive implementation, and improve project development pipeline and workflow\n\nProvide regular project status and financial reports, communicate progress and risk to studio leadership\n\nProvide clear project vision, goals, and objectives to project team and stakeholders\n\nFacilitate communication and coordination for internal and external project resources to eliminate roadblocks and ensure successful SOW completion\n\nWork with project team and QA to manage bug assignment, priority-setting, and progress towards resolution\n\nComplete project retrospectives/post mortems\n\nProvide project demos, interviews as needed\n\nEffective contributions to department process and best practices\n\nSkills Knowledge and Expertise\nMust Haves\n\nExceptional project management practices and software expertise\n\nDemonstrate financial and business acumen\n\nProactive and collaborative communication skillsMotivated by careful, objective, & detail-oriented work\n\nAbility to work as part of a team\n\nAmateur or Professional Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other proprietary engines\n\nStrong interest in the industry and a desire to create high-quality interactive experiences with an eye towards successful product launch\n\nStrong Experience with task-tracking and project management software\n\nNice-To-Have Skills\n\nPrevious experience with video game development, specifically experience developing games, simulations, or interactive products for education, training, or other mission-driven clients.\n\nPMI PMP Certification\n\nAdditional Requirements This position requires the eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
