Find your future with us.\nBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate Test Engineer (Level 2) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania.\nThe successful candidate will be involved in a variety of activities related to the testing and validation of electrical and electronic components and systems used in environments from seabed to space. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nTest Planning and Design:\nDevelop detailed test plans and procedures based on engineering specifications and requirements.\nDesign and set up test fixtures, equipment, and instrumentation to conduct tests.\nEnsure test plans comply with industry standards and safety regulations.\nTest Execution:\nConduct tests on electrical and electronic components and systems, including environmental, and performance testing.\nOperate and maintain test equipment and instrumentation.\nMonitor and record test data accurately and efficiently.\nData Analysis and Reporting:\nAnalyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.\nPrepare detailed test reports, including data analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.\nPresent findings to engineering teams and management.\nTroubleshooting and Problem Solving:\nIdentify and diagnose issues during testing and develop solutions to address them.\nCollaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve technical problems.\nImplement corrective actions to improve test processes and outcomes.\nContinuous Improvement:\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test methods, processes, and equipment.\nStay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in test engineering.\nContribute to the development and implementation of new testing technologies and methodologies.\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
