Shipping & Receiving Inventory Technician

Is this you?Do you thrive on keeping materials moving with accuracy and speed?Can you read a bill of lading like a pro and spot a packing list mismatch at a glance?Are you confident on a forklift and meticulous about packaging so goods arrive damage-free?You willUnload inbound trucks and verify shipments against bills of lading and packing lists.Work with Purchasing and cross-functional partners to resolve any discrepancies.Inspect incoming materials and tag damaged items when required.Record receipts to the correct purchase orders and distribute documentation appropriately.Complete ERP receiving transactions within 24 hours of arrival.Pick parts from storage, stage orders, and confirm the accuracy of outbound shipments.Package outbound materials properly to prevent in-transit damage.Maintain organized filing and archiving of all required documents.Operate forklifts and handle materials safely throughout the facility.Follow all warehouse procedures, keep work areas clean, and meet Flowserve safety requirements.Deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers.Perform other duties as assigned.You areComputer-literate with basic skills in Microsoft Office and comfort navigating systems.Available for occasional overtime, including some weekends and evenings.Physically prepared to stand for long periods; walk extensively; kneel, twist, and bend.Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and buddy-lift/move over 100 lbs occasionally.Equipped with close/distance/color/peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Capable of multitasking in a production setting with frequent product changeovers.Willing to learn and cross-train across functions.Fluent in the language of logistics with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Nice to haveMaterial handling and forklift experience; active forklift certification.Experience with ERP platforms.Analytical, research, and problem-solving strengths; exceptional attention to detail.HS Diploma/GED and/or 0–2 years of relevant experience.Success scenarioBy week two, you are confidently unloading, receiving to POs, and posting to ERP within 24 hours. By week four, you're independently resolving packing list issues with Purchasing, packaging outbound orders that arrive unscathed, and keeping documentation filed and archived without a backlog—all while upholding Flowserve safety practices and keeping the warehouse spotless.
