As a leader within the development team, you will cultivate and sustain effective working relationships among technical teams, contract manufacturing partners, and business/product stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of strategic product development objectives.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nOversee manufacturing and production operations initiatives for key products from early development through mass production.\r\nCultivate effective working relationships among technical teams, contract manufacturing partners, and business/product stakeholders.\r\nApply program/project management methodologies across all phases of product development, operational planning, logistics strategy, risk mitigation, and supply chain management.\r\nLead collaboration efforts to deliver products on time and within budget, ensuring technical readiness.\r\nQualifications\r\nThe successful applicant is\r\nExperienced in manufacturing, process engineering, logistics, strategic component sourcing, risk mitigation and/or supply chain management.\r\nResults oriented with attention to detail and a strategic long term planning perspective.\r\nProficient at addressing various partners from individual contributors, up through senior leadership.\r\nTechnically proficient and has prior contract manufacturing partner management experience.\r\nFamiliar with a variety of manufacturing processes and techniques.\r\nA liaison to vendors and technical teams to design, develop and deliver products on time and within budget.\r\nFamiliar with product lifecycle management methodologies.\r\nRequired Knowledge / Skills:\r\nSelf-motivated with incredible attention to detail.\r\nDeep understanding of supply chain, logistics, sales forecasting and component procurement standards.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\nMust be inventive and seek solutions through information gathering, partner discussions, and/or judgment calls.\r\nExperience in the video game industry is not required, but interest and passion for gaming, digital entertainment, consumer electronics, and technology is a plus.\r\nRequired Experience / Education:\r\nBachelor's degree in operations management or engineering related fields preferred. Masters or MBA are a plus.\r\n8+ years of validated experience in product development or manufacturing operations related roles with a strong background of supporting the development of new consumer electronic devices.\r\nSignificant prior experience with ERP/MRP and PLM systems and logistics and supply chain planning.\r\nStrong working knowledge of hardware product safety and regulatory compliance certifications (FCC, CE etc.) process and requirements.\r\nLeading overseas manufacturing partners in planning and performing development builds and new product development stages.\r\nBuilding and maintaining approved vendor lists (AVL) and bill of materials (BOM) to ensure part availability, quality and cost for each development stage.\r\nCapable of leading operations schedules, production planning and materials readiness efforts to meet product development landmarks.\r\nCoordinating production readiness with engineering, operations, and internal/external teams.\r\nEvaluating capacity planning and production throughput estimations.\r\nCommunicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain and establish teams.\r\nProficient with MS Office suite especially Project and Excel.\r\nWorking Conditions\r\nTeam environment; feels like a start-up within a large organization.\r\nTravel (domestic and international) required.
