CNC/Forming Operator

Summary/ObjectiveThis position ensures the setup, continuous operation and quality of products using specific procedural standards in the CNC processes.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Follow work order instructionsSet up CNC machines and troubleshoot mechanical problemsEnsure proper materials are usedUtilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and measuring devicesInspect material to ensure quality specs are metReports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Complete proper paperwork and tracking requirementsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRequired Education And ExperienceHS Diploma or GEDAble to use hand tools and measurement devices (micrometer, tape measure)Possess good math and computer skillsAbility to multitask and adapt to fast paced environmentPrior factory and tow motor experience a plus5 axis CNC router experience a plusCompetenciesTechnical Capacity.Organizational Skills.Problem Solving.Teamwork.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an open manufacturing environment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee must stand 8-12 hours per day and is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 hours.
