This role involves operating heavy equipment, handling recyclable materials, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nAssists with preventative maintenance and repairs to facility buildings and equipment, to include electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, painting, and related tasks.\nAssists with upkeep of facility grounds to include lawn mowing, maintaining gardens, trees and shrubs, snow removal, sanding, and related tasks.\nAssists with facility security, including alarm systems, generators, weekend coverage, and related tasks.\nAssists with facility janitorial services, to include cleaning and maintenance of laboratories, offices, lunchrooms and common areas, and related tasks.\nAssists with compost and incinerator operations to include mixing, stacking, inventory, equipment, and related tasks.\nMaintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.\nBuilding skills such as operating tools, equipment, reading measurements, and general construction knowledge.\nOperate the skid-steer loader, tractor, farm truck, and manure tanker and pumps.\nGeneral mechanical skills such as repairs to facilities, equipment, animal areas, and scheduled maintenance.\nQualifications: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education, Experience, Job Skills, Equipment Skills, and Certifications)\n1. High school diploma or equivalent\n2. Experience in general construction, mechanical repairs, and/or maintenance.\n3. Familiarity in at least one trade for example, carpentry, electrical, plumbing etc.\n4. Familiar with animal welfare regulations.\n5.
