Under direction of Supply Chain Head, you will plan/manage the manufacture of bulk and packaged products based on material requirements planning (MRP) reports and tools, and release production and packaging schedules in alignment with MPS requirements. This includes New Product Introduction, R&D, and MS&T requirements, along with all Inline commercial demand. The role will communicate status of plant performance and collaborates with other teams to minimize and/or eliminate supply concerns, constraints, and back-order situations.\n\nHow You’ll Spend Your Day\nDevelop the Master Plan for the NJ Operations, balancing inventory, resources, and capacity to meet customer needs.\nEnsure the delivery commitments on MTO products, which involve verifying forecasts, checking material and availability of capacity.\nPerform supply/demand analysis and capacity planning each month, highlighting areas of concern\nIdentify and communicate constraints that may impact achievement of the MPS while maintaining finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high customer service levels.\nAct as liaison between Production, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Management, Product Development, Technical Services and Demand Planning to control supply to customers\nMaintain KPI’s for the Planning function within the NJ Operations sites\nEnsure coordination with other teams to schedule and to execute plan on a weekly and monthly basis while monitoring actual output versus the Master Production Plan.\nIdentify gaps and drive solutions, including metrics on performance to the requested schedule.\nSupport the documentation of planning policies, schedule rules and procedures to ensure consistent Master Scheduling performance\nYour Skills and Experience\nCompleted Bachelor’s degree required. (Focus on Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Operations or related discipline preferred).\nThree (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain related roles: production planning, master scheduling, inventory management, shop floor scheduling, demand, etc.\nProficient with MS office applications (especially MS Excel)\nKnowledge of Supply Chain processes; planning, replenishments, forecasting, advanced planning, inventory management, and master data maintenance.\nSelf-motivated with excellent initiative, leadership and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to collaborate internally and externally to influence cross-functional change and meet all deliverables.\nAbility to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nProblem solving and analytical skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAdequate practical experience with site Quality, Production and Vendor Management.\nExperience in pharma industry with manufacturing and packaging, especially Oral Solid Dosage forms strongly preferred.\nAPICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred\nDemonstrated knowledge of ERP systems required (QAD & SAP a plus)\nSalary Range\n\nThe annual starting salary for this position is between $97,835 – $103,590 annually.
