You will collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to ensure our systems remain reliable, performant, and compliant with industry standards.\r\nResponsibilities Maintain, upgrade, configure, and secure network equipment and software.\r\nEnsure compliance with security guidelines (SOC2, STIG, NIST, etc.).\r\nTroubleshoot connectivity and bandwidth issues.\r\nDocument network configurations, processes, and changes and participate in cross-training.\r\nCoordinate with the IT team on infrastructure initiatives.\r\nParticipate in establishing and enforcing security compliance policies.\r\nPerform after-hours maintenance and support when required.\r\nQualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience considered).\r\nMinimum 5 years of network engineering experience.\r\nIndustry certifications preferred.\r\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model.\r\nExperience with AWS networking (Transit Gateway, VPCs, Route53).\r\nFamiliarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).\r\nGitHub experience.\r\nProficiency in Cisco networking platforms (Nexus NX-OS, Catalyst IOS).\r\nKnowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto firewall platforms (Firepower FTD/FMC, PAN-OS).\r\nExperience with VMware vSphere networking (distributed switches).\r\nExperience networking for containerized environments.\r\nWireless networking (Wi-Fi design, security, troubleshooting).\r\nHigh availability networking (LACP).\r\nIPsec site-to-site VPNs with IKEv2 across different vendors.\r\nRemote VPN and SDP solutions (ZTNA).\r\nNetwork and performance monitoring.\r\nNetwork OS patching, updates, hardening.\r\nLinux, Apache, Tomcat administration.\r\nScripting (PowerShell, Linux shell).\r\nUnderstanding of programming concepts to support DevOps teams.\r\nSystem monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk).\r\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance.\r\nU.S. Citizenship required.\r\nBenefits Hybrid work model with flexible schedule, paid vacation, health and retirement benefits, tuition reimbursement, employee incentive programs, and resources for mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer Thomson Reuters is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer providing a drug-free workplace.
