At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.\n\nCurrently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Deployment Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nCoordinate with customer sites to plan, schedule, and accomplish site deployments\nConduct site surveys; assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements\nTravel to customer sites and perform deployment activities, to include site surveys, installing hardware, device configurations, troubleshooting etc.\nCreate and implement router and switch configurations\nConfigure computers, communications devices, and peripheral equipment\nManage and maintain system configuration including documentation, installation, planning, configuration and evaluation of existing and new hardware\nProvide support to IT systems which includes day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices etc.\nTroubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including network device configuration\nCoordinate inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipment of equipment\nMaintain awareness of security directives, orders, standards, plans and procedures\nCreate and maintain Visio network diagrams\nDraft and submit recommended change request proposals\nEnsure the architecture and design of the customer’s information systems are functional and secure\nProvide recommendations to enhance and improve the network and performance\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience; a degree might be substituted by additional 4 years of systems engineer experience\nDoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required\nDoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification required within 6 months of hire; MCSA, VCP, or equivalent\nExperience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers; Microsoft Windows 10; administering Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and workstation and server hardware; administering Microsoft Office 2010/2016; administering DNS, Group Policy, and PKI; administering vSphere, Horizon View, data backup, and antivirus software; basic networking including DHCP/TCPIP; experience with deploying workstation images; and experience with thin and/or zero clients\nKnowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Systems, HP SANs, VMware products\nAttention to detail and organizational skills\nAdept communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving management skills\nProficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software\nExperience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as ServiceNow\nMust be willing to travel within the U.S. up to 50% and requires occasional (as needed) 5-10% OCONUS travel\nValid US Passport\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOutstanding customer relationship management skills\nAbility to operate under minimal supervision.\nExperience in the following areas: hardware/software security, router and switch communications protocols, network management, encryption techniques, firewall rule definition and authentication technologies.\nWorking knowledge of communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems, including DNS, Group Policy, and PKI\nGood working knowledge of applying security best practices from DISA and/or vendors.\nBasic networking\nITIL Foundations certification\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nClearance Requirements:\nUS Citizenship required and active TS/SCI clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.\nCandidate must be open to random poly.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.\nMust be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\nFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
