This role plays a critical part in keeping wafers moving through production by operating equipment, handling materials, performing inspections, maintaining accurate process records, and supporting basic equipment maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, able to follow standardized procedures, and interested in building a long-term career within semiconductor manufacturing.\n\nDuties / Responsibilities:\n\nOperate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment (e.g., photolithography, etching, deposition, or testing tools).\nLoad and unload wafers or substrates from process equipment.\nInspect wafers and components visually and/or using microscopes or automated systems.\nPerform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.\nAccurately record data in logs or computer systems.\nFollow detailed work instructions, process documentation, and cleanroom protocols.\nMaintain high standards of cleanliness and contamination control.\nCollaborate with engineers and technicians to report and resolve production issues.\nAdhere to safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.\nWork in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or similar regulated production environment.\nBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn production software systems.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.\nDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new processes.\nComfortable working around chemicals and manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nReliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.\n\nAdditional Preferred Skills:\n\nAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Science, or related field.\nSemiconductor manufacturing experience.\nExperience handling wafers or working in a cleanroom environment.\nExperience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or laboratory operations.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, cGMP, GMP, or other regulated manufacturing standards.\nBackground working with chemicals or chemical processes.\nExperience with statistical process control (SPC) concepts.\n\nPersonal Skills:\n\nStrong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.\nQuick learner with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.\nEffective communication skills.\nTeam-oriented and collaborative mindset.\nPassion for manufacturing, technology, or continuous improvement.\nInterest in career growth and advancement within semiconductor manufacturing.\nCommitment to producing high-quality work and following established procedures.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\nAble to process wafers in a flexible development environment\nAble to operate multiple metrology tools\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nStrong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.\nWork primarily in a fully gowned cleanroom environment.\nWear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, face shields, and steel-toe shoes.\nStand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nHandle wafers, tools, and manufacturing equipment daily.\nLift and move materials up to 50 lbs.\nFrequently bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.\n\nQuantum Computing Inc.
