Engineer","description":"Job Title :- Power Electronics validation Engineer\nJob Location :- Mossville, IL\n· Good communication skills (verbal and written) as well as a great attention to detail\n· Hands on experience with performing testing on high voltage and power converters (e.g. 480VAC, 1000VDC, 500kW inverter/charger)\n· Hands on experience on testing software such as CANape or Labview.\n· Hands on experience with general lab equipment such as oscilloscope, power meter, hi-pot tester\n· Experience in postprocessing test data using software such as Matlab, Excel, and DataK.\n· Basic understanding on inverters and DC/DC converters;\n· Basic understanding on control communication network such as CAN and Ethernet;\n· Experience with HIL (Hardware in the Loop) is a plus.\n· Experience in reading electrical drawings\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for validating charger products which include main charger, charging connector, cables and receptacle;\nProvide Support to Caterpillar Power Conversion Lab which include but not limited to the following:\n· Create test plan based on product requirement, software feature and FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis)\n· Perform tests using CANape and collect data using lab equipment\n· Postprocess data and present to design lead\n· Maintain and file all company data pertaining to the test lab including procedures, technical data, reports, calibration records, wiring diagrams, equipment records etc.\n· Read and understand applicable requirements of regulatory bodies such as UL, CSA, and IEC\n·\nJob Type:
