Primary Responsibilities The consultant role is for an experienced Indirect Purchasing Administrator to independently:Process purchase requisitionsPurchase orders and ensure compliance with purchasing guidelines,Company policies and procedures, and alignment with strategic company objectives. Independently process RFPs, RFIs and RFQs to assist business owners with specific project needs. Source new product streams, acquire new vendors, and develop innovative strategies. Responsible for data management with regards to purchases and contractsWork to develop purchasing standard methodologies. Minimum Requirements / EducationBachelor s degree in Business or related field. 7+ years of purchasing experience required. Experience shall include but not limited to management of RFPs,RFQs, and RFIs, processing of Requisitions and Purchase Orders, managing vendor relationships, cost reductionand consolidation. Hands on experience working through all facets of the Purchasing cycle either in a manual or automatedprocess. Strong command of purchasing management fundamentals. Advanced computer skills required (Adobe Pro, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word). Excellent written and oral communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to adapt to differentpersonalities. Must have experience dealing with internal and external customers/vendors. Ability to independently plan and prioritize own work as well as work unaided and in a team environment.
