This role requires a strong software engineering foundation, excellent people leadership skills, and the ability to improve how teams plan, develop, test, and deliver software.\n\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nPeople Leadership\n\nHire, mentor, coach, and develop software engineers.\nSupport career growth and provide technical and professional guidance.\nBuild a high-performing engineering team.\nEstablish engineering best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.\nEngineering Execution\nLead Agile execution and support PI Planning activities.\nImprove predictability of software delivery.\nCoordinate cross-team dependencies and execution risks.\nRemove process and technical blockers affecting delivery.\nImprove SDLC practices and engineering workflows.\nSoftware Delivery and Quality\nPartner with DevOps to improve software development, testing, and release processes.\nDefine and improve testing strategies.\nCoordinate release readiness activities.\nImprove engineering quality metrics.\nSupport build validation and integration processes.\nTechnical Leadership\nMaintain enough technical depth to understand software architecture, development practices, source control, builds, CI/CD concepts, and containerized application environments.\nPartner with architects, senior engineers, and DevOps teams.\nHelp teams make effective technical decisions and improve engineering effectiveness.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\nJob Qualifications\n\nTypically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or related discipline and six or more years progressively complex experience.
