SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nUnder limited supervision and in accordance with the laws, federal regulations, and applicable state and local policies, procedures and guidelines, this position has the following tasks and duties.\nSupport field evaluation of construction and improvement projects activities, including HSE evaluation of high risks activities.\nSupport field inspection of construction and improvement projects activities to assure HSE compliance based on applicable procedures, laws and regulations.\nUnderstand and follow applicable internal and external HSE policies, procedures and regulations while also ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and programs.\nSupport site facilities start-up and qualification activities (e.g. commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ/PV) from the HSE perspective.\nSupport hygiene program sampling activities (as required).\nSupport HSE standard gap assessment process and actions development with applicable areas.\nSupport Site Self-Assessment program and area inspections as required.\nPrepare/review safety communications\nSupport HSE investigations\nApprove substances in 3E platform\n\nC. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nBS Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial)\n1-3 years of experience in Health and Safety (Construction, Operations, Ergonomics) is highly recommended.\nOSHA 30 General Industry knowledge.\nExperience working with safety incidents and near-miss investigations.\nExperience developing CAPAs to address investigations opportunities.\nAble to use a logical, systematic approach to problem solving.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize work based on business needs.\nStrong leadership and communication skills\nEffective teamwork and collaboration skills\nAvailable to work or provide support to a 24/7 operation.\n\nD. RELEVANT COMPLIANCE DETAILS\nCompliance\nThe contractor shall complete the required compliance training such as “The Red Book”; apply knowledge, principles, and requirements to daily work and in business relationships with customers, suppliers, employees, stakeholders, etc.\nSafety\nSafety is our number one priority. The contractor shall comply with the requirements established in the Security Policy, Occupational Safety and Industrial Hygiene Policy, Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) and Basic Safety Rules. The Contractor must comply with all safety and security requirements. Contractor company must provide all the personal protective equipment (respiratory protection, safety shoes, etc.) and provide the medical surveillance documentation to comply with OSHA requirements.\n\nEnvironmental\nUse all office supplies in an efficient manner. Recycle or re-use paper, glass, carton/mill-board and any other recyclable material.
