We can teach technology, but we can’t teach how to approach software development challenges with a positive, helpful demeanor.\n\nSalary: 118,000.00/Annually\n\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES\n\nThe Senior Full Stack Software Developer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDecompose monolithic application stacks and migrate to Go/Java micro-services in our new Kubernetes cloud stack.\nPrepare design documents, design databases models, create wiki pages for team members\nWrite / rewrite micro-services for container / cloud applications.\nBuilding service that are scalable and optimized for performance and quality.\nOwn features from technical design through maintenance.\nBreak down complex tasks/requests into sub-tasks, make consistently good decisions, ability to operate independently.\nConsistently follow defined solution architecture and use software engineering best practices and designs.\nAccurately estimate time to complete tasks, resulting in high quality and high productivity.\nOccasionally provide training and mentorship to other software engineers on the team.\nWrite services using TDD/BDD practices, follow coding standards and help other team members to meet Sprint goals.\nWhat will you learn in the first 6 months?\nYou will learn how to build high quality applications in micro-services architecture for the healthcare industry.\nWhat will you achieve in the first 12 months?\nYou will be part of the team that will build first set of services of our future state platform using best practices and advanced technologies. You will have an opportunity to work on different layers of application from UI to DB schema designs.\nEDUCATION: 4-year degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field\n\nEXPERIENCE:\nAt least 7 years’ experience in software development or similar roles.\nMust have at least 5 years of experience in Golang.\nStrong understanding of Functional and Object-Oriented Programming principles.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong development experience with Go language, Java knowledge is a plus.\nAdvanced experience using and creating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, knowledge of gRPC is a plus.\nExperience with Go frameworks - Mux/Logrus/Validator/Sqlx/Pq/gqlgen/Sarama, knowledge. Java Spring is a plus.\nExperience with TDD / BDD. Knowledge mocker, ginkgo / go test is a plus.\nExperience building API / Event driven micro-services.\nExperience working with Kafka is a plus.\nProficient in PostgreSQL or other relational databases, knowledge of MongoDB is a plus.\nSolid experience with Git, knowledge of Jenkins is a plus.\nExperience using Kubernetes in development or production environments.\nExperience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.\nProficient in Angular, HTML5, SASS, ES2015+.
