This role supports system availability, vulnerability remediation, accessibility compliance, and structured reporting requirements in alignment with federal cybersecurity and operational standards.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy Drupal enhancements and custom modules\r\nMaintain and upgrade Drupal core and contributed modules\r\nApply monthly Drupal patches and security updates\r\nSupport staging, backup, and failover environments\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues\r\nImplement secure coding practices aligned with federal cybersecurity standards\r\nSupport Section 508 accessibility compliance integration\r\nParticipate in vulnerability remediation efforts within defined SLA timelines\r\nAssist with controlled after-hours production deployments\r\nContribute to technical documentation and knowledge capture repositories\r\nSupport modernization initiatives and major CMS upgrades\r\nTechnical Experience & Knowledge\r\n5+ years of hands-on Drupal development experience (Drupal 8/9/10 preferred)\r\nExperience developing custom Drupal modules and themes\r\nExperience working with Apache web servers\r\nFamiliarity with Git-based version control\r\nExperience supporting staging and production deployment processes\r\nUnderstanding of web application security best practices\r\nFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning remediation processes\r\nExperience implementing Section 508 accessibility requirements\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience supporting federal government web applications\r\nFamiliarity with NIST cybersecurity framework environments\r\nExperience working in DevSecOps environments\r\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines\r\nKnowledge of containerization (Docker) is a plus\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nAbility to work in structured, compliance-driven environments\r\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet defined SLA timelines\r\nAbility to collaborate effectively in cross-functional DevSecOps teams\r\nWho You Are\r\nYou are energized by secure, mission-focused web development within a structured federal environment.
