You will work with your supervisor, or a mentor, to set goals and design a development plan to advance your career.\nWhat We Offer:\nTime for dedicated professional development, conference attendance, corporate partner and industry training, peer group collaboration, hackathons, as well as paid certifications, education reimbursement and student loan forgiveness.\nWhat you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues):\nDesigning and developing platform tools for data analysis.\nPresenting your results to current customers and integrating with their teams.\nIntegrating and developing applications for future object detection, identification, tracking and characterization.\nMaintaining and enhancing existing custom applications.\nSupport migration activities into cloud environments.\nModernizing workflows and interfaces, customizing to include new mission areas and topics.\nProviding exceptional customer support for our clients.\nGather and decompose mission requirements into program technical requirements and tie them to program milestones in concert with mission stakeholders.\nParticipate in technical solutioning, architecture design, and integration working sessions to understand system design goals and constraints.\nEnsures that program technical resource needs are defined and met by working with the functional capability teams to identify and secure appropriate expertise & resources.\nEvaluates the integration of the engineering solution within the overall engineering environment; ensures that appropriate documentation, testing, maintenance, and engineering updates are completed in accordance with Systems Engineering best practices.\nExecutes program plans to conform to cost, schedule, production, and performance commitments and communicated by the PM and Technical Director.\nCoordinate with test and evaluation teams to align on appropriate level of end-to-end testing and customer-facing testing.\nIdentify sequencing and dependencies on/with other major initiatives/programs within the program.\nSupports development of interface control documents, software requirement specifications, performance specifications, presentations and review test plans/procedures.\nKeeps comprehensive notes/records, provides formal documentation following established processes and makes technical presentations, as required.\nLead validation of end-to-end solution for mission value and operations transition.\nSupport the Agile process used to facilitate system baseline changes, taking ownership of those deliverables expected from the customer organization.\nEnsure quality by managing system and component-level requirements providing traceability to design documentation, test cases, and operational training material.\nDevelop as-built design documents for software & hardware components.\nCreate system-level functional flows with an ability to frame all requirements inside those flows.\nLead development of as-built models and design documents for components to ensure all documentation is current.\nMake contributions to the enterprise vision, engineering processes, and overall architecture roadmap.\nParticipate in design sessions with the broader team from back-end processing to user interfaces.\nMinimum requirements:\nMust be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.\nBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or closely related field.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience.\nExperience developing software using a variety of languages.\nExperience with software engineering tools (i.e., OpenShift, Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE), kubeadm, Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) minishift, minikube, kind used for local development and testing.\nFamiliarity with the Agile development process and tools.\nExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7, 6.8, 7; CentOS, Scientific Linux.\nExperience with Ubuntu and Debian.\nExperience shell scripting using Bourne, Korn, C-Shell, and Bash shells.\nStrong problem solving and thinking skills are required to quickly update existing models and scenarios to reflect the unique capabilities and solutions being considered.\n#cjpost\n#LI-CJ1\nOur salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility.
