You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class GNSS and location solutions.\r\nKey Responsibilities Include\r\nDesign, develop, review, and maintain real-time embedded software in C and assembly language\r\nDevelop software within a multi-threaded architecture, including inter-process communication and multiple SW/FW interfaces\r\nCollaborate with hardware teams to verify hardware features and debug hardware-related issues\r\nCollaborate with systems teams on algorithm development, digital signal processing, and implementation\r\nWork closely with test teams to diagnose and resolve system-level functional and performance issues\r\nContribute to software architecture, system design discussions, and development methodology\r\nOptimize software for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience\r\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience\r\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\n3–5 years of experience designing, developing, and debugging medium to large-scale real-time embedded systems\r\nStrong programming experience in C\r\nSolid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multi-threaded software design\r\nExperience with ARM-based development and debugging tools (e.g., TRACE32)\r\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and adherence to sound development processes\r\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and understand end-to-end system goals\r\nBackground in digital signal processing\r\nUnderstanding of GNSS receiver concepts and operation\r\nExperience with GNSS measurement engine receiver design\r\nHands-on experience with GNSS signal acquisition and tracking, including acquisition and tracking loops\r\nFamiliarity with GNSS navigation algorithms, state machines, and optimization techniques\r\nKnowledge of WWAN technologies (WCDMA, LTE, 5G) or other communication protocols\r\nExperience with MATLAB, and/or scripting languages such as Python or Perl\r\nExperience in MIPS profiling, memory optimization, and power optimization\r\nSelf-driven, fast learner with a passion for innovative and scalable software solutions\r\nPay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits\r\n$129,300.00 – $193,900.00\r\nIn addition to the base salary, this role participates in a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and is eligible for annual RSU grants.\r\nOur benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.\r\nEEO Statement\r\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
