{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ef488f39ebb7a4a7da7052ea","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ef488f39ebb7a4a7da7052ea","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ef488f39ebb7a4a7da7052ea","title":"Assembler - 3rd Shift","description":"Position Summary:\nResponsible for the safe and timely disassembling or reassembling of production equipment, ensuring that all equipment is intact (i.e: “o” rings, gaskets, nuts & bolts) for production operation.\nPosition Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAdequate housekeeping at all times during shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel.\nDisassemble all equipment in a timely manner to prepare for sanitation.\nRe-assemble all equipment with minimal supervision or assistance.\nDetect any abnormal conditions (.ie: “o”rings, worn equipment, bearings or any bad moving parts and ability to perform preventive maintenance.\nMake minor repairs on equipment on an as-needed basis.\nHave all equipment re-assembled and ready for production start-up\nPerform other duties as directed by the lead.\nPosition Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, utilizing basic math skills and auditing paperwork.\nMust have basic mechanical knowledge.\nUnderstand the basic knowledge of computers.\nAbility to effectively adapt to change.\nAbility to read, write, and speak English.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the work environment, plants, or offices. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Lifting requirements are up to 75 lbs. Exposure to loud industrial-type environments is commonly found in plants.
