This role is key to ensuring that our technology infrastructure and business processes are aligned and operating at peak efficiency.\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration and operation of our service desk, as well as other enterprise applications, while identifying opportunities for process enhancement and automation.\nContributions:\nBusiness Process Improvement- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into process enhancements.\nSystem Administration & Configuration- Configure and maintain enterprise applications.\nImplement business process improvements within the applications by applying configuration changes.\nIntegration & Automation- Identify opportunities for integrating systems and automating repetitive tasks to create seamless workflows across different platforms.\nUser Support & Training:\nProvide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training for technical tools, ensuring staff can fully leverage available technologies.\nCreate and maintain documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nExperience with business process analysis, workflow optimization, and process automation.\nExperience as a System Administrator, IT Specialist, or Business Process Improvement Specialist.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n2-3 years experience as a system analyst or similar role\nPreferred Skills:\nStrong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.\nExperience with configuring and administering service desk platforms (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow, Remedy) and/or other enterprise tools such as iCIMS, GitHub, and AWS.\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nAbout steampunk:\nSteampunk is a Change Agent in the Federal contracting industry, bringing new thinking to clients in the Homeland, Federal Civilian, Health and DoD sectors.
