MAJOR DUTIES:Performs a variety of tasks on a variety of machines.Works from engineering drawings or rough sketches.Sets up own machining work.Performs other duties as assigned by leader or supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS:A thorough knowledge of machining techniques, materials, tools, equipment, and blueprint reading is required. Ability to read precision measuring tools is also required. Skills may be gained through practical experience and/or specialized training. Prior CNC or Manual Machine experience is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Frequent bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 75 pounds) will be required. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:All work will be done in a timely manner within established quality standards and consistent with Company policies, priorities and needs. The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the Company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member.
