This role is key in maintaining organized inventory and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nSort products by labels and efficiently stack and organize meat products in the warehouse according to established procedures.\nEnsure proper organization and placement of products to optimize storage space.\nInspect products for quality and report any discrepancies or damage to the supervisor.\nKeep accurate records of stacked-off products and maintain inventory levels.\nPalletize cases on pallets according to pallet Tie and High and apply stretch-wrap to completed pallets.\nOperate scales and hand-held scanners.\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse space.\nCoordinate with warehouse teams to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth workflow.\nAdhere to safety guidelines and protocols for handling meat products.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)\nPrevious experience in a warehouse or food processing environment is preferred.\nAbility to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes/packages.\nAbility to work in cold and/or refrigerated environments.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate in English with strong verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful, but not required.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stack and lift heavy boxes, crates, or meat products, which can range from 70 pounds or more (unassisted). The job typically involves standing and walking for extended periods to move around the warehouse, inspecting inventory, and fulfill orders. The employee may involve repetitive motions, such as scanning barcodes, sorting products, packaging items, need to bend, stoop, and kneel to access products on lower shelves.\nDue to noise levels in the work environment, the use of hearing protection is required. The employee must have good, corrected vision to see details at close range or at a distance. The employee will be working in a cold storage environment and may be exposed to heat when working outside the warehouse area.
