Kitchen/Food Manager

Qualifications: Strong customer service mindset Food training in sanitation, food safety, nutrition, food preparation (training provided) High School Diploma/GED required Job Description: We are looking for a part time cook who loves to cook healthy, delicious meals that will appeal to the palate of our children at our preschool. The kitchen/food manager will work mornings 8:00am-1:30pm Monday to Friday, enjoy weekends off! Plans and prepares snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus and nutrition regulations Determines meal and snack count and distributes food to each classroom Performs weekly food and supply inventory Checks-in supply deliveries to ensure accuracy of order placed Ensures that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met; follows standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation Benefits: Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Discounted child care Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift: Morning shift Ability to commute/relocate: Denton, TX 76201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
