The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and in coordination with other team members and other intersecting teams, and enjoy learning new technologies and business areas.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain a suite of applications (mainly Java)\nBe an active member of an Agile development team, responsible for participating in all Agile ceremonies, updating Jira tasks daily, and contributing to continual improvement strategies\nTroubleshoot issues in production and non-production systems\nLearn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers\n\nRequired Education, Experience, and Skills:\n\nBachelor's degree plus at least 3 years of work experience, including support of Java applications and associated frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot\nExperience working in an Agile team development environment using Jira or a similar tool\nExperience developing against relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)\nExperience writing automated unit tests in a tool like JUnit\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded\nDemonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges and enjoys working alongside fellow team members to make that happen\nThis is a hybrid position with 1-2 days per week onsite in Ashburn, Virginia.\n\nPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:\n\nExperience working in an automated development environment, using CI/CD tools such as Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube\nExperience developing and deploying to a Cloud environment (such as Amazon Web Services)\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes\nDevelopment experience using JavaScript and/or JavaScript frameworks like Angular\nExperience with Hibernate or MyBatis\nExperience with JMS (e.g., IBM MQ, ActiveMQ)\nExperience with Python\nExperience with Kafka\nExperience with Linux\n\n#LI-Hybrid\n\n\"Our estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
