This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, values safety, and enjoys managing multiple crews and projects from start to finish.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary of $100,000–$120,000\n\nCompany vehicle provided\n\nPerformance-based bonus opportunity\n\n$105/day per diem for employees living 70+ miles from the project (hotel or campground receipt required)\n\nLong-term career growth with a stable and respected contractor\n\nOpportunity to lead challenging heavy civil and sitework projects\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead all field operations while maintaining the highest safety, quality, and production standards.\n\nManage multiple grading and site development projects throughout the Southeast.\n\nSupervise and mentor foremen, operators, and field personnel.\n\nCoordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.\n\nAttend owner, engineer, client, and pre-construction meetings.\n\nEnsure projects remain on schedule and within production goals.\n\nMaintain OSHA and MSHA compliance on all assigned projects.\n\nConduct routine safety inspections and lead safety meetings.\n\nOversee erosion control installation, inspections, and compliance.\n\nCoordinate with Project Engineers on layouts, material submittals, and project documentation.\n\nManage project paperwork including timesheets, fuel logs, load counts, change orders, and billing information.\n\nAssist with hiring, onboarding, and training field personnel.\n\nMaintain company equipment, vehicles, and project documentation.\n\nQualifications\n\nPrevious experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil, grading, earthwork, or site development.\n\nStrong knowledge of grading operations, road construction, and heavy equipment.\n\nExperience supervising multiple crews and managing several active projects simultaneously.\n\nWorking knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations.\n\nAbility to read plans, coordinate schedules, and communicate effectively with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.\n\nStrong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.\n\nClean driving record and willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nHeavy equipment operations including dozers, excavators, motor graders, compactors, and loaders.\n\nErosion and sediment control compliance.\n\nProduction scheduling and equipment management.\n\nProject documentation, reporting, and cost awareness.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nWe're searching for a Superintendent who leads by example, builds strong teams, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality projects.
