IT Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.\n\nQualifications\n\nPerforms installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology\n\nManages system/application environment and ongoing operations\n\nEnsures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards\n\nResearches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions\n\nProactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies\n\nTroubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures\n\nResolves alerts and performs remediation activities\n\nManages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners\n\nCollects and presents data for reporting and planning\n\nAssists with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration\n\nDetermines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors\n\nCollaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives\n\nDetermines best course of action for meeting business needs\n\nMay participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises\n\nEnsures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints.\n\nMay contribute input to infrastructure architecture\n\nPerforms on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\n5 or more years demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education.\n\nBachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience\n\nExtensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration\n\nCompetent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.\n\nExtensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations\n\nHigh critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.\n\nAbility to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities\n\nAbility to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance\n\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly and articulately\n\nAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment\n\nRequired Job Specific Skills\n\n2 years supporting a Windows Server environment.\n\nPrevious work experience as a Windows System administrator supporting a large enterprise.\n\nSupport production and test environment servers (Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016) and related business applications.\n\nExperience in Active Directory : OUs and policy inheritance. Create and edit policy.
