When a home is ready for delivery, some jobs also need on-site work: setting the home, finish work, and punch-list items at the client's property. That's typically 30 to 60 percent of your time, depending on the week, across our Tri-County service area (Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Santa Clara counties, plus occasional projects in San Luis Obispo County). You'll get advance notice before any on-site day, and you'll use your own vehicle to meet us at the job site. On those days your pay is a fixed 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the job site, same as a normal factory day.\n\nWe are hiring multiple carpenters for our factory team right now.\n\n*What you'll build*\n\n* Rough framing to spec, weatherproofing, and structural work.\n* Window, door, and siding installation.\n* Roofing, interior finishing, flooring, and final detail work.\n* On-site set and finish work when a build calls for it: final touches, punch-list items, and getting a home ready for the client at delivery.\n\n*Who you are*\n\n* 5+ years of framing or residential carpentry (not entry-level).\n* Confident with the tools and able to read a plan set and build to it, working independently.\n* You own your work: punctual, safety-minded, reliable, and accountable for what you build.\n* A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for the on-site days that come up (roughly 30 to 60% of your time), across our Tri-County + SLO service area.\n\n*Job specifics*\n\n* Location: 1610 Moffett Street, Salinas, CA 93905 (our factory), plus occasional on-site work across Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Santa Clara counties (and, less often, San Luis Obispo County).\n* Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hrs/week), steady hours and a paycheck you can count on.
