Head Of Video Sales And Brand PartnershipsWondery is looking for a Head of Video Sales and Brand Partnerships to support our rapidly growing business, reporting to the Head of Podcast Ad Revenue of Wondery. This is an exciting time to join a fast-growing company in an emerging new media space and in a role with broad scope and the potential to make a real impact. This person will work closely with the Head of Podcast Ad Revenue and other Wondery team members to establish Wondery as the leading global podcast ad network with significant expansion in video capabilities. This role is a critical member of the Sales Team, focused on using data to make decisions that will help us scale, find ways to innovate in video podcast monetization, optimize margins, train Account Executives and Account Managers in overall video monetization strategies, and strive for operational excellence and customer-driven innovation in a global growth environment. This role will also leverage deep relationships and industry research to make decisions that will help us scale our revenue, build multi-channel programs, and customer-driven innovation in a global growth environment.The ideal candidate will have previously held a similar role in a quickly scaling sales organization, ideally at a video/entertainment company, large technology platform or digital brand, and have a passion for storytelling through audio and video content.Additional locations include: New York, New York, Los Angeles, California.Key job responsibilitiesOwns key client and agency relationships and builds accounts by establishing trust and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work; establish inroads to major holding companiesDemonstrates thought-leadership in video, content and audioLeads calls and meetings to uncover needs, provide updates, and receive project feedbackContinually develop quality and quantity of opportunities needed to achieve territory goals, providing regular funnel activity/updatesStrike commercial deals where possible at the hold co. investment level; establish advocacy amongst senior leaders and their teams at the op co's and seek account-level longer term commitments that are stewarded by the agencyAchieve monthly KPIs including, but not limited to pre-determined number of face-to-face customer presentations, quotes and winsSupports the gathering of any required assets, documentation, and data from clients and other sourcesManages client projects from beginning to end and works with internal teams on timelines, internal and external communication, resources, and deliverables; delivers project timelines to clients and proactively keeps documentation and project management software updatedCreates quotes and proposals for new projects; Builds project budgets and statements of workCultivates and seeks new opportunities within current clients and agencies; prospects new clients and assists in the creation and delivery of pitchesEstablishes internal processes that allow for resource sharing amongst teams (research, tooling, templates) and train AE's and AM's on use of these tools and optimizing pitches and processesReviews all assigned work to ensure quality control and the achievement of the finalized goalManages project finances ensuring accountant has all necessary information for billing and invoicingA day in the lifeYou'd like this job if:You know how to earn trust and build relationships. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
